Description
The Sport Découverte Ivoire Association (SDI VTT Club) is a socio-sporting club bringing together more than a hundred members (men, women, and children) of all ages.
Since its founding in 2009, SDI has given its members and the general public the opportunity to take part in a wide range of sporting, social, and tourism activities.
SDI's goal is to enable its members to engage in regular physical activity through sporting events organized on weekends and public holidays.
Beyond sports walks, hiking, and mountain biking (MTB),
SDI also offers:
- Camping trips and tourist travel;
- Charitable initiatives;
- Sustainable Development actions.
These activities can be summed up in three words, as the club's name suggests: sport and discovery in Côte d'Ivoire...
3rd Edition of the Family MTB Ride
Mountain biking even in an urban setting, through the Family MTB Ride COCODY A VELO 2
The family MTB ride is a large-scale public event dedicated to promoting sport — and mountain biking in particular — in the fight against arterial and cardiovascular diseases as well as diabetes.
Following the success of the first edition in 2018 on the Plateau with 347 participants, and the second edition in 2019 in Cocody which brought together more than 800 participants (women, men, and children).
This sporting event will bring families together to discover by bike the
various neighborhoods of the Cocody municipality and their histories, under escort from the
police and fire brigade.
