Description

Built between 1950 and 1951, this wharf played a vital role in the development of the country and its surrounding region. It was used for the export of coffee, cocoa, palm oil, and many other products. Local fishermen also relied on the wharf as their departure point for fishing expeditions. It remained in active use until 1971, when the autonomous Port of San Pédro was constructed.
