GAOULOU NATURAL PARK
Description
The Gaoulou natural park covers 7.5 hectares. It is located in the Sassandra and Dagbego region, on islands in the middle of the Sassandra River, in the southwest of Côte d'Ivoire. It is rarely mentioned when people talk about natural parks, yet it is truly magnificent. It is highly recommended to visit with a guide who knows the park well. In fact, the park features a protected forest. To get there, you must travel by dugout canoe.
