La Cabane Verte, a 14-room eco-lodge
La Cabane Verte offers: 14 fan-cooled rooms (plus, for those who prefer it, the option to rent tents or even bring your own), a lovely pool where you can soak up the sun, and a wide range of activities (rifle shooting, cycling, maracana, trampolining, 6 km guided morning hikes departing from La Cabane every day from 6 a.m., traditional and not-so-traditional board games such as awalé, ludo, and cards, not to mention swings and hammocks for children and dedicated nappers alike).
La Cabane Verte, a traditional dining experience
In the kitchen, your hosts will treat you to delicious traditional dishes and simple, organic meals sourced from local livestock and a small kitchen garden. On the menu: bush meat, braised African poultry or kedjénou (African or broiler chicken, turkey, duck, guinea fowl…), rabbit, sautéed snails, placali with oxtail… All washed down, if you wish, with delicious palm wine.
La Cabane Verte, a haven for disconnecting
The experience of switching off, far from the city, its noise, and its pollution, is all the more intense because out here you'll find no TV and no internet. Just birdsong at dawn, the gentle lullaby of the wind through the trees, evenings around a wood fire, an abundance of authenticity, and the simple joys of life that have today become a luxury. Not to be missed!
Getting there: The ranch is located 47 km past Agboville heading towards Cechi. 8 km before Cechi, turn left at the small village of Bombokro and continue through the forest for about 3 km.
