Dabou is a town located 45km from the city of Abidjan. To get there, you must cross the Eiffel Bridge. As its name suggests, this 41.6m bridge was built by the legendary Gustave Eiffel. Its construction began in 1927. This bridge was the first national road connecting Abidjan to the rest of the country. As someone once said: "A visit to the Eiffel Tower should not be complete without a visit to the bridge of Dabou."
