THE CENTENARY MOSQUE OF KAOUARA
Description
Although it is not very well preserved, this mosque is a must-see attraction during your visit to the North of Côte d'Ivoire. You will discover a distinctive architectural style unlike any other. It is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 18th century by Ouattara Bakouneri. On the western side of the mosque, imam Ouattara Bassandi.
