THE LOSSOGO CAVES
Description
Talking about the Lossogo caves without mentioning the warrior Samory Touré is simply impossible. The village of Lossogo is located in the town of Odienné, right on the border with Guinea. Within this village lies a cave that was famously known as the hiding place of Samory Touré. Other sources, however, suggest that it served as his powder magazine — the place where he concealed his weapons.
