Côte d'Ivoire's tourism heritage is rich and never ceases to amaze us. Noumouzou is a small village in the department of Grand Lahou, nestled between Lac Azagny and the sea. This is a lake unlike anything you will find anywhere else. To gain access, you must first visit the chieftaincy of Noumouzou to pay your respects to the village chief, who will then assign a guide to accompany you so you don't lose your way. Once on site, you will discover that there are actually two black lakes, separated by just 100 meters from one another. Legend has it that the "prophet papa nouveau" once "blessed" the lake.
