THE CERAMICS CENTER OF GRAND BASSAM
Description
Seven (7) artisans who, in 1982, decided to create a ceramics center in Grand-Bassam to share what they had learned during their training in Abidjan. The building that houses the center was gifted to them by the Ministry of Culture. As a fun piece of history, the building was constructed in 1910 and once served as a leisure center for the Cercle des colons.
